For Providers

The Integrated Care Collaboration is proud to provide regional physicians with meaningful tools to help improve the healthcare quality of our community.  Achieving meaningful health information exchange can be a daunting task which is why ICC provides several different tools to help alleviate the process and help physicians start exchanging data.

The ICC offers health information exchange services in two standards based forms, a secure direct messaging system called Texas Direct, and a traditional electronic data exchange accessible by an online portal called ICare.

Why choose the ICC?

  • Experienced provider of HIE services-in business since 1998; HIE provider since 2002
  • Robust, secure technology platform
  • Non-profit, community-based asset with a mission to improve health outcomes through secure, meaningful use and analysis of community health data
  • Robust data analytics and quality reporting services across the continuum of care
  • Web-based provider and patient portals

Meaningful Use

Providers who “meaningfully use” an Electronic Health Record (EHR) can receive incentive payments from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Participation in an HIE will be key to meeting many of the requirements of Meaningful Use. The HIE is also a valuable asset for those organizations seeking to be recognized as a Patient Centered Medical Home.  Both ICare and Texas Direct meet the standards set forth by Meaningful Use.  Please visit HealthIT.gov for more information.
